Brecon Little Theatre was founded in 1930. Originally named "Brecknock Little Theatre", the company has produced over 200 shows. 

BLT, as it is affectionately known in the area, has gone from strength to strength over the years. First making their home the Guildhall Theatre in Brecon's town centre, before moving to Theatr Brycheiniog in the 90s.

Since 2016, under new management, Brecon Little Theatre has brought their family shows, comedy nights and musical concerts to Brecon and the surrounding communities, allowing many more people the opportunity to be involved in the performing arts. 

In 2018, Brecon Little Theatre became a registered charity, and init's 90th Anniversary year, moved into a new home on The Struet.
